This is my first post after my life in SAM. And all I have to say is I'm sad
I'm sad that this is all going to end for good. My college life -- END!!
ARGHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm sad that this is all going to end for good. My college life -- END!!
ARGHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
At first I was deadly afraid of college. I was so freaked out in IT class because my classmates were all talking alien languages. I had absolutely no idea what a freaking server was nor a hub, a processor chip or what "http" stands for. (Hypertext Transfer Protocol) Now, when I talk to my friends, I sound like an alien. O_O
I was so afraid that I wouldn't have friends and that I would never fit in to the cruel world of college's fashion critiques but hey it turned out that I didn't have to compare myself with anyone. That is because I ended up in a whole class full of guys which reacts very honestly to my choice of clothing. If they think I look OK, they simply just keep quiet; If they think I look like shit, they'll just call me auntie... Which is really kinda annoying. Especially Kheng Yu's very memorable comment:
" You don't look like my grandma today... You look like my mother."

Well... these few days has really been something though, at first I was really in doubt of whether I should leave Malaysia in order to pursue my dream or be stuck here with architecture but having my friends and family. Only recently I've decided to leave Malaysia despite the fact that I'm going to miss my friends, family and my food.
The reason for my doubt, it started on the last day of Taylor's...
The last day at Taylor's was an incredible day. It was one of the best days of my life. It was a very emotionally demanding day where we had a great time with the lecturer. Mr. Woon made us sad, Mr. Chan made us laughed, Miss Rachel ching-chonged us, Mr. James said I wouldn't shut up and Miss Sukhminder watched the Hand's Commercial. :D
I had a fantastic day.
Then after that, I worked hard for my exams in the library for the whole week of study week.
Then it was here --- EXAM WEEK --- 1st November till 12th November
All I had to say for my exam week is --- I'M SCREWED
weee!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
But anyhows, that is over so no point moaning over it. What was important was the last day of exam
After the IT exam, I sprained my foot magically. Seriously I had no idea how it happened but it just sprained. So then at the last day of exam (Spec Maths -- the hardest paper) I didn't join the guys for DOTA because FTZ was quite far but however, I did join my classmates in MED for out after-exam lunch. It was a pleasant lunch and then we decided to go to karaoke. That was even more fun! But me and Fariz decided not to sing after a few rounds because our voice is turning hoarse and we needed a healthy voice for ----- CORROBOREE (which is SAM's name for prom)
After karaoke, we proceeded to Andrew's house in Klang. It was a fun evening and I almost won Monopoly although I haven't played it in years. I was always good at it. I don't remember losing. Wee!! Well, that just proves that either I'm a very good money handler/ investor or I'm kiam siap. I almost won because they didn't want a girl kicking their butts at games as Jer's girlfriend is already doing so... Therefore I wasn't crowned champion :(
But it was overall a great day. I had tons of fun.
13th November~
I went to Fariz's house to practice for Corroboree. His guitar playing was so damn awesome. It really got me interested in music again especially when his parents gave us so much advice on our song. I'm was going to singing "Bunny Song" and Fariz and I were going to do a duet of "Smile". It was a very good afternoon spent. :) We screwed up our audition but hopefully all runs well for our final performance
15th November~
I had the worst time in the afternoon but everything unraveled itself into a wonderful evening.
Me and Fariz had to be at the hotel for audio testing/ rehearsal in the afternoon. My plan for the day was to go the place, be done with the thing, go home, get changed and get back in time. I honesty thought that the whole would end before 4 since they said they would start at 2 sharp. Well they were not very on time and I was very upset because I didn't have time to go back and get ready for the big night. (I'll never trust Malaysians again when they say they'll be on time)Instead I had to phone my mum and dad to help me get all my stuff to the hotel. I was very very upset that afternoon, I didn't get to shower and I had to trouble my dad. So stinky with sweat and fear, I had to go to prom without my hair curled. So there goes my effort for thinking what to do with my hair.
Then, I was very worried for our performance the whole night, so it was a kinda enjoyable mood, an in- suspension and in- excitement mood. I liked the first group of guys who performed, Ryan and Chern Hao, they were very friendly during the sound check session. Then I thought Denise was awesome despite her fault on her speech. The video they played in the beginning was also very awesome! Nobody but you --- Mr. Chan! LOL.
Then it was our turn after they announce the nominees for prom king and queen. I was suppose to sing my solo first and I was so freaking scared I couldn't feel my fingers. Besides that, I was shivering up and down because the backstage was freezing cold. Then I thought my voice would crack when I talked but it didn't so I started to relax a little. Then when I was making my speech and looking down at everybody, I couldn't see a damn thing and most of the thing I saw was flashing camera lights... Hah!! Nobody was paying attention, so I was like yay! I sang the song and passed it on to Fariz. The duet was awesome! I didn't miss a word! Weee!!! So then the rest of the night was so magically I could not describe it in any way.
That night, I saw him, alone and I froze, it never occurred to me that I would see him there. But he left with another girl.
So then another adventure began, I was suppose to leave with Huey Teck, but then I met Pei Nee and decided to follow her since she decided not to go back with her prom date.Pei Nee stays closer to me anyways. So I followed the G10 class to have a drink in a nearby Mamak store. Then when we (Kong Yao, ST, Pei Nee, Deivina and me) decided to make a move, Kong Yao realised that he didn't have his key with him and it was with Sioe Fei. So it was quite a complicated procedure to reach home but we managed to get home safely so that was all that matters.

Then of course after the prom night me and the guys still went out for lunch and movies. That's why I have developed this need to stay instead of flying off to Melbourne. I don't want to leave now because I've found true friends that cared about me. But then, after so many moons of mulling over the facts, I decided to go Melbourne in hope that we will once again meet in the future. S3 memories will forever inked in my memory except when I develop Alzheimer or die.
